Welder

The company is currently seeking a 1st and 2nd shift Welder in Boyne City, MI. Daifuku Airport America Corporation is a subsidiary of Daifuku North America, a group company of Daifuku in Japan - the largest material handling company in the world. Our advanced systems move everything from car bodies at auto plants to luggage at airports to packaged goods at warehouses.

What You Will Do

Set up, adjust and operate a mig or heli arc welder to join metal parts by a series of spot or continuous weld seams in accordance with dimensional specifications. Weld metal components together to fabricate products, parts, or equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6-12 months on the job welding experience
• Ability to interpret drawing
• Good verbal communication skills
• Previous shop experience with knowledge of manufacturing flow

• Ability to prioritize work
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to read and write
