Role OverviewA senior-level position responsible for completing routine welding assignments within clearly defined processes, working under moderate supervision.
What You Will Do
The welder will use metal core mig, tig, fluxcore sub-arc or stick welding process, pass applicable tests, and perform quality x-ray and ultrasound test welds with minimum rework.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will be proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches, automated equipment, and able to read and understand blueprints, with a strong safety, production, and positive attitude.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Welding School
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipe, structural and vessel materials
- Must pass a 3G test for vessel/tower or 6G test pipe
