Role OverviewAssist with department administrative duties, learn about the work being performed, and contribute to completion of department workload. Assist welders with preparation of parts, fixtures, and tooling for aerospace welding operations.
What You Will Do
Perform basic welds, tacks, and joint preparation according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Inspect welded components for conformity using gauges, visual criteria, and basic measurement tools.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a basic understanding of written communication, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and document organization. Strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be actively enrolled in a post-high school educational program in welding technology or related manufacturing field of study
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
