Role Overview

Meet with applicants/clients to determine initial and on-going eligibility for income maintenance programs, receive applications, determine eligibility, and approve claims. Coordinate and monitor foster care placement IV-E and Medical Assistance application packets. Interact with the Human Services Board, service providers, and other social services staff.

What You Will Do

Determine initial and on-going eligibility for income maintenance programs, receive applications, determine eligibility, approve claims, and enter into MEC2. Coordinate and monitor foster care placement IV-E and Medical Assistance application packets. Assist with development of the Child Care Plan and assume a mentor role for the Client and Provider portion of the MEC2 Child Care Assistance program.

Requirements

  • Three years of clerical experience and/or experience working with the public
  • Two years of clerical experience in a social services/human services agency
  • Two years of study at an accredited two or four-year college or university
  • Valid driver's license
