Job Description
The Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Use Prevention, Care, and Treatment (BADUPCT) is seeking a Wellness Advocate to coordinate the implementation of Relay at assigned hospital emergency departments and provide technical assistance to ED staff. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organization skills, experience working with culturally diverse populations, and familiarity with harm reduction principles.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities
  • High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above
