Job Description
The Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Use Prevention, Care, and Treatment works to close gaps and reduce overall morbidity and mortality related to alcohol and substance use among New Yorkers. The Wellness Advocate will provide support to patients in the ED following a non-fatal overdose and introduce Relay to patients and obtain consent for follow up services.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Two years of experience in community work or community centered activities
  • High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities
