Job Description
Washington Gas is seeking a Sr. Asset Management Compliance Specialist/Engineer to lead the implementation and execution of Asset Management compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or a related technical field, 5+ years of experience in the natural gas industry, and knowledge of regulations such as DOT CFR 49 Part 192 and ASME.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ Years of natural gas industry experience
  • NACE Certificates for Corrosion and for Integrity Management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects
  • Working knowledge of DOT CFR 49 Part 192, ASME and NACE regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient operation of information technology for managing data for business decision making
  • Ability to document well and to concisely discuss and deliver presentations on key/complex issues
