Role Overview

We are seeking multiple Wildlife Area Coordinators to work in various locations across Ohio. As a Wildlife Area Coordinator, you will plan and coordinate wildlife programs, provide work direction and training, and perform habitat management functions. You will also be responsible for monitoring and participating in maintenance and repair of buildings, automotive equipment, and power tools.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and coordinating wildlife programs, performing habitat management functions such as vegetation control and controlled burns, and monitoring and participating in maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This position may be a good fit for you if you have experience in wildlife habitat and conservation activities, including wildlife habitat evaluation, preparation and implementation of wildlife plans, and operation of associated equipment. You will also need to obtain and maintain a Pesticide Applicator License and a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License within a certain timeframe.

Requirements

  • 24 months of experience in wildlife habitat and conservation activities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pesticide Applicator License within 1 year of hire
  • Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement within 6 months of hire
