Job Description
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Wildlife Biology Program Administrator within the Division of Wildlife, headquartered at Fountain Square main campus in Franklin County.

Requirements

  • Manage, coordinate, & monitor statewide public lands management programs on over 300 wildlife areas.
  • Work with a team to write ten-year public lands tactical plan, annual operational plans, and performance reports for public land recreational and habitat management.
  • Develop subsidy agreements with partners, solicit districts for projects, develop scopes of work, agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate statewide procurement contracts, coordinate with district subject matter experts to develop scopes of work, attend meetings with vendors.
  • Manage geographic information systems regarding public lands management.
  • Participate in interviews for public lands positions and develop performance evaluation criteria for public lands positions.
