Role OverviewThe Tech One Program (TOP) is a structured career development program for entry-level wind technicians, created through a partnership between industry leaders Sky Climber Renewables and Vestas Americas. Technicians primarily work at a wind site location near home and operate as part of a service team to ensure safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance.
What You Will Do
Perform all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generator equipment safely and efficiently. This includes maintaining and repairing machinery or components used primarily in power generation applications such as turbines and generators.

Must be passionate about safety and service excellence, a strong communicator, and effective team contributor. Eager to learn, proactive, and self-motivated. Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships)
- Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless actively relocating to the area
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
