Job Description
Re:Build AppliedLogix is seeking a versatile Wire Harness Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our design services business, collaborating closely with clients to understand their requirements and developing comprehensive wire harness design packages ready for manufacturing.
Requirements
BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wire harness design.
Familiarity with 3D CAD or Electrical Harness Design software (Solidworks Electrical, Zuken, Siemens Capital, etc.)
Experience with component selection and generating schematics and harness drawings.
Strong understanding of electrical first-principles, RF/ EMC considerations, wire routing, and wire harness assembly techniques.
Familiarity and experience with industry standards and regulations related to wire harness design (e.g., UL, IPC, SAE)
