Role Overview

The Wireless Network Engineer performs Tier III network engineering and escalation support in strict alignment with the SIE Operations Order (OPORD). This highly analytical role requires comprehensive, hands-on technical expertise in network architecture, hardware, and software.

What You Will Do

The primary focus of this position is directing the design, implementation, and continuous maintenance of the USSOCOM Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program. Additionally, the Network Engineer oversees the strategic planning, modeling, simulation, installation, management, and cross-functional coordination of the enterprise network.

Requirements

  • Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with PhD
  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in computer systems and network engineering, including specialized experience directly aligned with the core duties of this position.
  • Strong technical proficiency in IPsec VPN architecture.
  • DoDD 8570 IAT II Certification.
  • Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 441 – Network Operations Specialist - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26.
  • Experience administering CISCO, Juniper SRX, and Aruba platforms.

  • Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000
