Job Description
The Wasserstrom Company is the leading Food Service Distributor in the nation. We have an opportunity available for a WMS Application Specialist to support the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the warehouse management system (WMS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IS/IT, or a related field
  • Expertise in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • Experience in writing, reading, and troubleshooting SQL queries
  • Strong understanding of WMS functionality and the ability to translate business needs into technical configurations
  • Proficiency with Infios WA WMS or similar systems
  • Ability to create and interpret technical design documents using Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel
  • Familiarity with.NET, HTML5, and basic scripting languages
  • Exposure to networking tools, Windows operating systems, and database management systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the U.S.
  • Ability to present and communicate with hourly associates through leadership levels
  • Comfortability hands on problem solving on the floor inside a warehouse environment
