Job Description
Defends the Commonwealth's Human Resources Division/Workers' Compensation Unit in all workers’ compensation matters before the Department of Industrial Accidents. Prepares and litigates cases, provides legal advice, and communicates with opposing counsel.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in the Massachusetts Bar
  • Minimum 3 years of experience litigating cases at the Department of Industrial Accidents
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • General knowledge of Massachusetts leave and retirement laws
  • Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operator's License
