Job Description
Role Overview

The Workforce Advisor will provide excellent customer service to customers enrolled in EARN activities, participate in weekly orientation groups, and meet one-on-one with new customers to support goal-setting processes.

What You Will Do

The Workforce Advisor will monitor customer efforts, interact with customers, and document progress toward goal achievements. They will also participate in job planning and other customer-focused meetings, and review customer time and attendance reports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field or 5 years of equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within an employment/training or human service environment. Bilingual skills in Spanish are also helpful.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services-related field
  • 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within an employment/training or human service environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish helpful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of office computer software
  • Sound knowledge of Philadelphia area and city agencies/systems
