Job Description
HDR is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Associate degree and local candidates are preferred, but a High School diploma or equivalent is required. The role will be located on-site at the FDOT Corridor Program Office in Celebration, FL.

Requirements

  • Manage recruitment outreach and candidate engagement
  • Conduct phone screenings to assess candidate eligibility and program fit
  • Oversee and coordinate onboarding activities
  • Serve as liaison between candidates, Contract Administration Team, and external partners
  • Monitor onboarding progress and track background checks and drug screenings
  • Coordinate and track attendance verification and timesheet coordination
  • Maintain accurate documentation of candidate interactions and onboarding milestones
  • Provide ongoing support to candidates throughout the training program
