Role OverviewThe Worship Pastor provides spiritual and musical leadership for Seaside Baptist Church’s worship services, helping the congregation and community experience the love of Christ and grow in faith.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include providing pastoral care, planning and leading worship services, selecting and preparing music, and coordinating training and deployment of instrumentalists and vocalists.

Requirements
- Born-again believer with a personal, ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- Consistent personal prayer life and daily quiet time
- Full agreement with the doctrines of Scripture as expressed in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 of the Southern Baptist Convention
- Familiarity with and commitment to the mission and ministry priorities of Seaside Baptist Church
- Strong musical training; ordination preferred
- Proven ability to lead worship instrumentally (piano or guitar) and vocally
- Excellent communication, relational, and interpersonal skills for ministering to adults, students, and children
- Self-motivated, teachable, and a strong team player who involves others in planning and decision-making
- Administrative and organizational skills sufficient to manage ministry systems and volunteers
