Role OverviewWe are seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide weekly monitoring of existing pressure ulcers, with recommendations for treatment changes in the absence of improvement. Recommending and implementing preventative interventions to prevent skin breakdowns for immobile and inactive residents in accordance with state and federal regulations.
What You Will Do
Direct and supervise the restorative needs of all residents, in cooperation with the Rehab Director and Director of Nursing, for the purpose of preventing decline and maintaining the highest practicable level of functioning.

Requirements
- Must be a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse with license in good standing
- Previous hospital, long-term care and restorative or wound care experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must speak and understand English
- Must be able to supervise and instruct others
- Previous supervisory experience or completion of appropriate training program, or as required by state law
- Positive attitude toward the elderly
