Job Description
The Florida Gaming Control Commission is seeking a Director of Auditing to conduct operational and performance audits, develop audit plans, and evaluate internal controls. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge and experience in conducting audits, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in managing projects.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in conducting audits
  • MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing projects
  • Experience in maintaining professional independence
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports and audit findings
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, or with a major in business which includes five courses in accounting
  • Five (5) years of experience as an internal auditor or independent postauditor, electronic data processing auditor, accountant, or any combination thereof
