Job Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the foundation of community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Before and After School Care Site Assistant is responsible for general subversion and management of assigned school sites while assisting in the development of children's social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience supervising children is preferred
  • Ability to participate in, plan, and lead all physical activities
  • Ability to sit and stand from a seated position on the floor when interacting with children
  • Capability to be outside for up to 30 minutes a day, year-round
