Job Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the foundation of community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Before and After School Care Site Lead is responsible for the supervision, planning, implementation, and development of activities for a group of children.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in childcare setting
  • Credit hours in Elementary Education, Recreation, or Early Childhood
  • Ability to participate in, plan, and lead all physical activities
  • Ability to sit and stand from a seated position on the floor when interacting with children
  • Capability to be outside for up to 30 minutes a day, year round
