Role OverviewThe Yard Associate will perform various yard activities, including operating a forklift, providing customer service, and ensuring inventory is well-stocked. The successful candidate will have experience with performing similar tasks and possess strong customer service skills.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include assisting customers, reviewing materials, moving product, and performing routine clean-up of the yard. The Yard Associate will also be responsible for understanding and observing safety procedures and providing superior customer service.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have six months of experience with performing similar tasks, a high school diploma or equivalent, and OSHA Forklift Certification. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of various types of lumber, ability to operate material handling equipment, and strong customer service skills.
Requirements
