Role OverviewThe Yard Associate will perform various yard activities, including operating a forklift, providing customer service, and ensuring product/material is well stocked.
What You Will Do
Assist customers, review materials, move product/material, and perform routine clean-up of the yard.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, knowledge of various types of lumber, and the ability to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Clean and valid Drivers License
- Six (6) months of experience with performing these or similar tasks; or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
- OSHA Forklift Certification (training is provided) and experience building frame packs
