Job Description
Applicants will be considered for a Yard Driver position at Tyson Foods' RVI-Texarkana Truck Shop in Texarkana, Arkansas. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Tyson trucks and customer trailers safely and efficiently, following plant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Dependable and able to work well with others
  • Prefer high school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months experience driving heavy equipment or trucks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, shovel, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions
  • Valid driver's license (Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed)
  • No DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months
  • At least 18 years of age
  • 6 months non CDL driving work experience with one employer in the last 24 months
