Role OverviewAs a Yard Load Builder, you will be responsible for safely assembling packages of building materials, staging materials for delivery, and assisting customers in loading their materials. You will play a crucial role in providing a high level of customer service and ensuring efficient and professional interactions with customers.
What You Will Do
Your primary responsibilities will include assembling building material packages, loading packages onto delivery trucks, receiving and unloading materials from vendors' trucks or railcars, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements
- Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Forklift Certification or willingness to become certified within 30 days
- Physical capability to perform activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs
- Ability to lift up to 95 lbs. continuously throughout the day
- Product knowledge and willingness to learn various grades of lumber and building materials
- Ability to work in rough weather conditions
- Flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adjust priorities and work quickly to meet demands
- Respectful and approachable attitude toward others
- Punctuality and ability to complete tasks by deadlines
- Willingness to be flexible and contribute to team needs
- Eagerness to go beyond necessary tasks and take on additional responsibilities
