Job Description
The Youth Advocate will provide treatment and support services to families and children with significant behavioral health needs. The role involves providing individualized services, family psychoeducation, and skills development. The Advocate will work with a multi-disciplinary team and travel throughout New York City to provide services in homes, communities, and offices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Specialty credentialing in advocacy (Provisional)
  • Certification in advocacy within one year
  • Lived experience of mental health challenges
  • Background in advocating mental health and/or in the educational system
  • Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
