Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Youth Build Construction Manager at Gulf Coast Trades Center in New Waverly, Texas. Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can help improve the lives of at-risk youth?

Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience in construction and general carpentry.
  • Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect
  • Exhibit the knowledge required to accurately read and interpret blue prints.
  • Must comply with training and certification requirements of licensing and regulatory agencies.
  • Must exhibit the safe and proper use of hand and power tools and supervise the sue of same by participants/trainees assigned to the Youth Build program.
  • Exhibit the knowledge required to accurately read and interpret blue prints.
  • Must exhibit the characteristics necessary to lead trainee crews and supervisor work projects from start up to completion.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a desire to work with troubled teens.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical and TB test.
