Job Description
The Youth Career Facilitator provides and coordinates individualized vocational services, community outreach, and support for youth and young adults to help them secure employment or pursue further education.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Associate degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, workforce development, education, business, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience, or Associate degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in human services, workforce development, education, business, or a related field
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals facing employment barriers
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor, with strong active listening skills
  • Proficiency in developing individualized service and employment plans with actionable steps
  • Knowledge of workforce development programs, local labor markets, employer needs, and community support services
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including timely follow-up and accurate reporting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, administrators, and families
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data entry/management systems
