Role OverviewAs the Youth Development Attendant, you will supervise children in the YMCA Youth Development Center, providing safe and enjoyable childcare for members and their children. You will be responsible for the safety and well-being of each child under your supervision, maintaining visual and auditory supervision at all times while creating a fun and playful atmosphere for participants.
What You Will Do
You will plan and supervise children's activities, perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe area, and consistently engage with children during each shift. You will also communicate with supervisors and/or the Manager on Duty about any issues that arise.

You should be able to work constructively and positively with children, parents, and staff, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively supervise children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years of age or older
- Must be working toward a high school diploma or GED
- CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred
