Role OverviewAs a Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children while enjoying a fun and fulfilling job. You'll work with kids on a variety of activities, including art projects, sports, fitness, field trips, and more - helping them to develop new skills, build confidence, and make new friends.
What You Will Do
As a counselor, you'll be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children, planning and leading activities, and serving as a positive role model and mentor. You'll also have the chance to take the kids on exciting field trips, exploring the community, and introducing them to new experiences.

Requirements
- fun, energetic, and excited individual
- pursuing a career in education and childcare, such as HDFS, CDA, Education, Counseling, etc.
- passion for building a better community
- experience working with, teaching, nurturing, and/or mentoring children
- ability to communicate and cooperate with children, other staff, and parents
- 21 years or older
