Role OverviewThe Youth Development Specialist oversees the engagement and development of children participating in YMCA programs. They are responsible for implementing and facilitating enriching activities tailored to their assigned group, supporting the YMCA's mission to strengthen community bonds through positive interactions with members.
What You Will Do
Supervise a designated group of children, maintain accurate attendance records, communicate with parents, and facilitate purposeful programming that supports academic growth and provides enrichment opportunities for children.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children
- CPR/AED, First Aid, Lifeguard and Listen First certification preferred
- Ability to stand, remain outdoors and maintain continual physical endurance for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
