Role OverviewThe Youth Development Specialist is responsible for facility and child safety, administrative compliance, programming, and childcare operations at school sites. The role focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship. The Specialist will maintain discipline, de-escalate conflict, and obtain CPR and First Aid certification. They will also complete reports, manage data, and ensure accurate and timely paperwork.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining facility and child safety, adhering to organizational health and safety policies, and implementing safety practices and procedures. The Specialist will also be accountable for reporting incidents, completing documentation, and maintaining discipline.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience working with youth
- Ability to work during program hours
- Ability to be a positive role model

- Ability to relate to at-risk youth
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Must be able to pass agency background screens and drug screen at any time
