Role OverviewPlans and evaluates the Rock 45 and Family Initiation Sacrament programs under the Director of Youth Formation. Collaborates with the team to achieve unity of vision at all levels of youth formation.
What You Will Do
Plans, coordinates, and implements all facets of 4th - 5th grade catechesis (ROCK45) and sacrament preparation process for youth in Christian Initiation. Assists in planning and execution of Vacation Bible School or similar summer programming.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have good knowledge of child development and methods, be willing to stay current in trends of catechesis of youth, and be able to work under pressure and within collaborative ministry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Catechetics or other related field or a Youth Minister Certificate
- Three years' experience in ministry preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
- Diocesan Safe Environment Training as required by the Diocese
