Job Description
Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a Youth Mentor to work with at-risk youth in a male group home. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with challenging behaviors and has the ability to make a positive impact in the lives of youth.

Requirements

  • Provide a supportive environment for youth
  • Assist adolescents with daily routine tasks
  • Transport and supervise residents on outside activities
  • Develop and implement daily recreational and social activities
  • Consult with shift leaders and professional staff
  • Participate in in-service training sessions and staff meetings
  • Assign and supervise chores
  • Document incidents and behavior
