Role Overview

The Youth Ministry Director will lead and oversee the overall Young Life Military program, known as Club Beyond, which is ecumenically focused and outreach oriented. The role requires living near the community where they will be doing ministry. The director will develop healthy relationships with adults and kids, build vibrant relationships with the local community, military installation, and chapel community, and work well in an environment with high turnover among teens, families, chaplains, and volunteers.

What You Will Do

The director will act as a role model, assist with developing community outreach, and lead and equip volunteers to do hands-on middle and high school Christian youth programs. They will also work to develop a deep love for Christ and for lost teens, communicate effectively with youths, parents, and senior military leaders, and be committed to a relational ministry approach.
