Role OverviewThe selected candidate will work with the Division of Youth and Family Justice (DYFJ) to provide supportive services to youth and families. The role involves building relationships among staff and using collective resources to provide comprehensive programs and activities. The candidate will oversee an array of programming and services for court-involved youth, develop innovative programming and services for youth and families, and work together with stakeholders to identify trends, track data, and implement effective training and staff development.
What You Will Do
The duties of the Youth Opportunity Specialist will include establishing and managing partnerships with workforce development programs and community-based organizations, providing technical assistance and contract management support, supporting youth enrollment in the DYCD Summer Youth Employment Program, organizing events and workshops, and assessing internal and external programs for improvement.
