Role Overview

The Youth Partner will provide a consistent, supportive environment for clients to learn and practice pro-social behaviors, problem-solving, and coping skills. They will work in coordination with the client's multidisciplinary team and develop knowledge of community resources to serve children and their families.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include providing transportation to clients, teaching social skills, maintaining accurate documentation, and working in coordination with the client's team. The Youth Partner will also develop and utilize knowledge of community resources to serve children and their families.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral support principles, Wraparound principles, and fidelity standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and/or Non-Minor Dependent (NMD) in an employment or volunteer capacity and possess a lived experience in child-serving systems as a minor/youth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • One (1) year of experience working with target population
  • Lived experience in child-serving systems as a minor/youth
  • Valid CA driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
  • Completion of CPR/First Aid/ProACT certification within the first thirty (30) days of employment
