Role OverviewTGA of Southern Westchester is looking for enthusiastic, reliable coaches to lead and support fun, engaging, and safe after-school programs for children ages 5–15. We provide structured golf, tennis, and pickleball programs at schools and community facilities throughout Southern Westchester and Fairfield County.
What You Will Do
Lead or support after-school programs for children ages 5–15, teach fun, age-appropriate drills, games, and activities, keep children engaged, active, and excited to participate, create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment, build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship, communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The right coach has a genuine passion for golf, tennis, and/or pickleball, understands the fundamentals of at least one of these sports, enjoys working with children, is energetic, patient, positive, and encouraging, is reliable and professional, can confidently engage and manage a group of children, has reliable transportation to program locations, and is available during after-school hours.
Requirements
- 18+ for Lead Coach positions
- Solid understanding of at least one: golf, tennis, or pickleball
- Passion for sports and working with children
- Energetic, positive, and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
