Job Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the foundation of community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Youth Sports Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the Y Positive Play Initiative (YPPI) for the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit service area.

Requirements

  • At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent is required (18+ years of age)
  • 2 years of experience working in a recreation setting is preferred, but not required
  • Experiences in administration, youth supervision, and program planning are preferred, not required
  • Completion of CPR & First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, etc., within 30 days of hire
