Role OverviewWe are seeking a z/OS Systems/Application Engineer (IBM) to join our team in the United States (US). As an IBM z/OS Integration Engineer, you will design, configure, and support enterprise integration solutions that connect distributed applications with core banking services running on IBM z/OS.
What You Will Do
Design, build and support enterprise integration solutions across IBM z/OS. Configure and maintain integration middleware supporting business-critical services. Deliver integrations that satisfy functional, performance, resilience, and security requirements.

Requirements
- IBM z/OS & Mainframe
- Strong experience developing or supporting applications on IBM z/OS.
- Good understanding of CICS, Db2 and COBOL.
- Experience analysing application flows and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Experience using Endevor, Jira, SNOW, or equivalent source management tools.
- Integration Technologies
- Experience with IBM MQ messaging.
- Knowledge of API integration technologies, including z/OS Connect EE or equivalent mainframe API frameworks.
- Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Experience implementing secure, resilient integrations between distributed and mainframe applications.
- Understanding of REST APIs and enterprise integration principles.
- Development Support
- Experience supporting and resolving integration issues.
- Knowledge of monitoring and diagnostic tooling such as OMEGAMON, Fault Analyzer and dump analysis.
- Understanding of workload scheduling tools such as TWS is also desirable.
