Job Description
The Ohio Department of Health is seeking a Zoonotic Disease Epidemiologist to initiate, propose, design, and conduct epidemiologic surveillance, projects, research, and investigations pertaining to cases and outbreaks of infectious diseases. The position will also coordinate data collection, ensure quality control, and oversee epidemiological database management for the Zoonotic Disease Program.

Requirements

  • Graduate core program in public health or preventive medicine
  • 3 courses or 9 mos. exp. in use of statistical computer software packages
  • 6 mos. exp. as epidemiology investigator with local or federal health agency
  • Ability to provide own transportation
