The Bernstein lab is recruiting a Research Technician I/II to perform experiments and support ongoing research under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. 
Responsibilities

Tissue culture maintenance 
Antibody screening 
Multi-color flow cytometry assays 
Restock lab supplies and reagents 
Learn lab processes and follow directions 
Maintain thorough, organized records 
Demonstrate initiative to improve skills while contributing to shared research goals 
An individual research project will be encouraged 

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Research Technician !:

Bachelor’s degree in related scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated scientific knowledge in the area of study
Demonstrated basic laboratory skills

Research Technician II:

Bachelor’s degree in related scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience
2 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A basic understanding of stem cell biology and antibodies
Experience with mammalian cell line culturing, including stem cells and/or PDX models
Experience with multi-color flow cytometry
Experience with molecular biology techniques including cloning, DNA purification and immunoassays
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Research Technician I: The hourly pay range for this position is from $23.33 to $33.21 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.  
Research Technician II: The hourly pay range for this position is from $27.01 to $38.45 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
